Algol Without Mercy

This spell is best used on a man who has been sexually harassing women and children. While it is obvious that women can also be perpetrators of sexual harassment and such, Algol specifically is best invoked to protect women (and sometimes children) from men. It is in Her nature as a gorgon.

WARNING: Algol is a violent star. It's known for phasing in and out of visibility and is associated with abrupt endings, like beheadings. This does not necessarily mean that your curse is guaranteed to work. However, just remember that you reap what you sow, and that curse work always works best when it's personal. Don't focus too much on outcome. Just let her do her thing.

Setup:

• At least one candle (I use 4, since 4 is synonymous with death in my practice. I would recommend 3 as a standard if you're a more generic practitioner.)
• Paper, pen
• Curse oils or powder of your choice, if you have any
• Any other offerings that have a "kick" to them, such as spices

• Do NOT do this on Sunday, unless you have a good sun placement in your birth chart. The sun does not work well with the violent side of Algol.
• Likewise, only do this ritual after the sun has set. If time is of the essence, you can do it during sunset, but not sunrise.
• Saturday works as a stand-in for Plutonian magic (associated with death), since Pluto doesn't have an official day in itself.

• I, personally, would not combine this with anything relating to holy Christian folk magic, such as invoking saints or archangels. You do you, though.
• She does not need to be combined with any other entities, but if you work with things such as the Furies, you can ask for their assistance here.
• If you do feel like other entities should be involved for your own sake, then it's best to work with beings that are experienced with revenge.

Instructions:

1. First, anoint the candle with any kind of curse oil or powder you have.

D.U.M.E. will work. But if you have anything actually sanctioned by the star Algol itself, then that would work well.

2. Put out a bowl or plate of other offerings to Algol and set it off to the side. This should be where you put spices and whatnot.

Other offerings are optional. Use things with a lot of "kick" to them. Sour things, like bitter lemon rinds, can be used if spice is not available. Alcohol should generally be avoided.

3. On a piece of paper, draw a basic outline shape of a person. Write the target's name, and other info that you have about him (such as his date of birth, mother's name, or general area of residence) inside the person. Draw the symbol of Algol across the neck area, as if decapitating him.

4. Recite prayer detailed below. It does not have to be loud, but should be spoken with conviction. Remember: This is a serious matter. This is for when you want blood to be spilled.

5. Once you are done, blow out the candle (if not yet burned out), thank Algol once more, and throw out everything disposable.
