This site is a heavy WIP
Please read this first!
Hello, reader. If you’re here, that likely means you’re either looking for resources on general magic, or specific spiritual entities that I've been recording information on.
Before we dive in too deeply, I’d like to put a disclaimer that a lot of information here is going to be UPG (“Unverified Personal Gnosis,” i.e. “this is my personal experience with this topic”) or SPG ("Shared Personal Gnosis," i.e. "I and multiple people have experienced this"). Also there's... A lot of reading involved. I like putting a lot of details when I feel like it. But if you don't like reading, I don't know why you'd be interested in these anyway.
There’s often a lack of subjective information with regards to things like spirit/deity work, since people are often afraid to be “wrong,” and they don’t want to be attacked when publishing their personal experiences. However, most spiritual texts are “made up” to some extent, and there’s no time like the present to note new things down.
That being said, these documents should not necessarily be used as an end-all be-all for what to think, or how to go about your practice. These should be treated as food for thought. You are free to use all of it, none of it, or pick and choose portions to incorporate. I encourage you to experiment for yourself and find what is useful to you.
To me, a lot of religion and spirituality is an, “Is this a duck, or a rabbit?” situation, in which the answer is sometimes genuinely “Yes and no.” However, for the sake of simplicity, I might write with an authoritative voice in order to avoid adding disclaimers every 5 seconds.
About Me
I call myself a garage mage. I've been interested in paranormal stuff ever since I was a kid, since I've been in haunted houses and stuff. As a teenager I got into simple things like tarot card reading. After graduating high school, I sort of swore allegiance to my main patron god, Bulalakaw who I had been working with. (If you know what "initiation" is WRT the spirit world, then uh. Yeah. I did stuff. Don't ask me about my specific trials, it was insanely depressing and I don't remember half of it.)
In college, I got into spirit work and doing rituals with random spirits (fae, nature spirits, demons, etc) for more customers and opportunities. I started removing random malicious spirits for friends whenever someone had a problem. Once I graduated college, I started doing spells, summoning spirits, and other things like that for people as a job. I found it more interesting and steady work than being a commission artist, funny enough. I try to balance my occult job and my art job, but the gist of it is I've been doing spiritual stuff for 10+ years by now.
Also, people keep asking me about why I put so much of my practice out in public, or ask if I'm afraid of people messing with my spells, sending hexes to me, etc:
- Most people are not that deranged to curse random people.
- People who know me personally and who have beef with me generally know better than to do that.
- People have tried and found out what happens.
- What I put out in public is actually a fraction of my practice, and there are some workings I will take to my grave. I just do a lot of workings, so it probably looks like I'm posting my life's story out here, when it isn't.
